The term "non-recruitment advertising" refers to any advertising undertaken by faculties, schools and centres that is not aimed at recruiting staff.

Non-recruitment advertising appears in a range of media including print, radio, billboards, and online. It can be used for:

  • promoting programs, courses and events
  • providing the public with information e.g. tenders, expressions of interest, public notices, legal notices
  • recruiting volunteers for clinical trials

1. How to book

  1. Determine your advertising budget and objectives. Consult your Faculty Marketing Officer in the first instance and progress to the Advertising Office to discuss if necessary.
  2. Review the Samples section to help decide your ad content and layout.
  3. Email the final version of your ad copy (and photo if required) together with a Requisition Form to the Advertising Office. If you need any assistance with copy writing please contact the Advertising Office.
  4. A proof of your advertisement and a quote will be supplied for approval.
  5. The Advertising Office will book and despatch your ad once approved.
  6. After publication OMC will receive and pay the media invoice.
  7. OMC will issue an Internal Service Charge (ISC) using details from your requisition form to recoup the media cost plus a 6% advertising levy.
